About these calculators
Running Calculator is a small set of tools for runners who want a straight answer: what pace do I need, how long will it take, how far did I go. Each tool shows the formula it uses and the assumptions behind it, and every result has its own link you can share.
New calculators are added only when they solve a clear problem.
Frequently asked questions
Are these running calculators free?
Yes. Every calculator is free to use, needs no account and does not store what you enter.
How accurate are the results?
The calculations are exact for the numbers you enter. Predicting a race you have not run yet is a different matter, because hills, heat and fitness all change the outcome. Each calculator explains what it does and does not account for.
